One Step of Obedience. A Lifetime of Faith.
Buried with Christ. Raised to New Life.
Believer's Baptism
Why Baptism Matters
We believe that Christians should obey their Lord’s command to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To qualify for baptism, one must repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. We practice water baptism of the believer by immersion. Baptism symbolizes death to sin and resurrection to the new life in Christ and the receipt of the Holy Spirit.
At Ridgecrest Family Church, believers’ baptism is a joyful and meaningful step of obedience to Jesus. It’s a powerful symbol of the new life we have in Christ; an outward sign of an inward transformation. By being baptized, we publicly declare our faith, celebrate our salvation, and affirm our place in the church family. As Baptists, we baptize by full immersion, reflecting personal repentance and faith in Jesus.

Where & When
Baptism isn’t what saves us, but it’s a beautiful way to say, “I belong to Jesus,” and to begin the journey of discipleship with purpose and community.
