Why Church Membership Matters
At Ridgecrest Family Church, membership is a meaningful step in following Jesus together. Rooted in our Baptist principles, it reflects your commitment to a local family of believers where God’s Word is taught, baptism and communion are celebrated, and every member plays a part. As members, we grow in faith, serve with purpose, support one another, and help shape the life and direction of our church under the Lordship of Christ. Membership isn’t just about belonging; it’s about believing, participating, and living out your faith in community.
How & Why
The Christian life is not meant to be an isolated experience for individual Christians. Rather, the Bible teachers that the Christian life is a life lived together as the church; a local body of believers, the family of God, in covenant community. Church membership is our way of identifying and affirming who joins together in covenant community at Ridgecrest Family Church.
